Instead go to the second bridge in the Lhulu mines, and random skeletons away from other monsters. (Ready flee anyways.).
Vossler helps make quick work of the skeletons, and the basic drop (bone fragment) is wonderful-lotsa gil each one. (Teleport from the tomb.. and please for the love of god, buy the weaposn from the ,merchant at the tomb mouth.... better than anything else in this part of the game...

Lhusu is good but the best now is the "Simoon's Bluff" at Nam Yensa Sandsea. (Northeast of the Tomb of Raythwall).
There Bagolys drop $1,900 "bent staff" and Axelbeak drop $500 "rainbow eggs"
