    Default I beat Zeromus.......Twice!!

    I took my party to the shrine where Zeromus is. I have fought him 5 times and lost. Today, I decided to try again, thinking today would be my lucky day. I had some close calls, but I managed to beat him on my first try. However, my party was bruised and 3 of them were dead. I tried to head to a save crystal, and I was killed by a Necromancer of some sort! T_T I was so pissed! I finally defeated Zeromus and I didn't have a chance to save. So I decided to try again, and to my surprise, I beat him again! I felt the second battle was a little bit easier than the first. And my party still had some HP left(at least Half) as opposed to the last battle when they almost had no HP left. I made sure I reached the save crystal safely and saved my game.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"

    Default My First Post of 2007

    Congratulations!

    I just beat Zeromus yesterday. The only hard part about that battle were those stupid Dark Lords that spawned like every two seconds. I had Reddas as a guest character though, so it wasn't as difficult as it could've been.

    you're wonderful i can only get up to the last small but hard bit of bar on his HP, and then the Dark Lords poke me with their spears ("Lunge") and it's all over.

    now i'm leaving Zeromus for later and going to follow what my characters want to do after all and go to (SPOILER) Archades . I guess I'm waiting for the Demon's Shields and Black Masks (absorb Dark), but they're so far off (esp. the Masks) so I guess if I feel like it maybe soon I'll try again (and again..and again)

    Which of Zeromus' and the Dark Lords' attacks will be nullified by the Demon's Shields? Piercing Gravija? maybe...hehehe...the spears of the Dark Lords?
    But maybe I don't wanna get an edge because of my equipment. I'm getting desperate and it would be fun though but I know eventually I'm going to go back to the (SPOILER)Stilshrine anyway

    I'm not even looking at (SPOILER)Cuchulainn yet.

    I think that the Dark Lords cast Dark/ra throughout the battle. My Basch and Ashe were equipped with Demon Shields. And I don't believe there are any accessories/armor that absorbs gravity because it's not one of the 'real' elements.

    You shouldn't. He inflicts Disable and Immobilize throughout the battle, and an (unavoidable) HP Sap effect really makes it tough. I'm waiting until I get my hands on a Ribbon or two before I take him on again.
