I've only gotten to the 25th year.

The stages (and their bosses) stop getting harder after their 3rd completion. Meaning, there are three base difficulties for each stage. However, difficulty increases when playing with two people. Even more so with 3, and hardest with 4 players. So, I'm guessing that there are 12 total levels of difficulties for each stage, unless they are recycled (eg., 3rd completion or farther with one player = 2nd completion with 2 players, etc.)

I don't think that you could rack up the years infinitely. There has to be some limit. Possibly 99, or 999. I mean, you couldn't have the sign up there fill with digits 'till they don't fit on the screen! :kaoplain:

im on year 14. i found the last boss dude, but my brother and i decided to get more artifacts since we beat the level boss, then we beat the 2nd last boss ( i think he was ) and that took us an hour so we went on to the next one and we died 15 times before giving up.
