Thread: Where can I buy the Phoenix Downs?

Default Where can I buy the Phoenix Downs?

At which store and in which town can I buy Phoenix Downs? I've looked at a few stores but none had any. I know that can be found from random battles and elsewhere, but is there any place that I can buy them?

Yeah I know I just read the thread about things we dislike about the game and that was one of them. That blows.

It's best to save them for boss battles until you have access to the Raise spell.

You can steal them from Rust Birds on the Mountain where you find Desh, I believe... Oh well, wherever they are, if you find Rust Birds, you can steal Phoenix Downs from them.

I only use a phoenix down on my devout, Refia. Because she can just use raise/arise and now I have 14 phoenix downs.

*Save the ones you actually find!
*Become a regular at the Inns!
*Become a regular at the Revivication Houses!
    *Use the Life spells!

If you think about it this way, it's not that important being able to buy Phoenix Downs.

Aha! So there ARE "Revivification Houses" like in FFI.

Where the hell are they? I searched all over Canaan to revive a dead character, and wound up having to use a Phoenix Down -in town-

There are Revivication Houses in lots of places, actually.
You have to search a bit more.

It says "Revivication!" when you use it.
    You can't miss it.

I'm pretty sure there is one in the very first town.

: "You just have to search a bit more."
    : "Yes, indeed!"

It's completely free to revive in town, it's the wells/springs that get their own building
