Yes, you should've equipped proper swords for use with spellblade. You could've finished him in one or two turns that way.

That's because she was equipping Dragon Lances, which aren't affected by Spellblade (at least in the first video, I'm going to watch the second right now).
I still can't kill Omega Mk. II. >_< I refuse to powerlevel...I suppose I'll do it eventually.
