    Default Big Bang

I have a few questions to help me on Scott's FF4 challenge. Is big bang Magic, or Physical damage?

Is there a way to get gil, without fighting?

How many times can Zeromus use big bang before his MP is gone (GBA version)? Someone will actually have to count.

    magic i think. non-elemental

he probaly can use it infinitely. this guy is easy as pie if you. (SPOILER)steal the 'dark matter' from him and his big bang will decrease by half damage(before he transforms).

I think Big Bang inflicts magic damage.

Besides using treasure chests to get gil you can also sell items that you get.

I don't think there's a limit to how much times Zeromus can do Big Bang.

Well, I can't fight, and I can only open chests that don't contain monsters.

Perhaps you should employ some kind of jumping strategy?

Isn't that a little slow for Big Bang? I was given an impression by a post that he stopped using it after a long while.

is it true that stealing the dark matter reduces the damage of big bang?

i've tried it but i've never been able to steal it.

to get money without winning and battles, you can steal items from enemies and then sell them. i cant think of any other way to get money, other than treasure chests with GP in and selling items.

If you're following the same rules as me you can fight monsters from chests, this brings a question to mind - Can you actually run from monsters in chests? *tests*

Either way they don't count as random encounters in my opinion.

Gil is a real issue, the only way you're going to be able to keep your equipment up-to-date is by knowing where to find valuable spoils. Other than that there are boss battles to keep your income flowing, but I wouldn't like to rely on that gil alone considering a large chunk will be taken as a penalty for running from random battles. It may be worthwhile to spend all your gil before entering a dungeon so you don't lose any for fleeing.

Zeromus uses more Big Bangs than I think you'll be able to survive put it that way.

I think I'm going to update that thread, I progressed but didn't update, oh the shame.

Since they are not "random" I'd say trap doors are acceptable regarding the rules I set. :rolleyes2
