FFT/PS2

I have a question, I have always heard that FFT does not work with PS2 systems, but I just bought one of the new slim PS2s and have the FFT greatest hits disk and it seemed to work fine for me. Is there a certain thing that doesn't work or am I just lucky?

If FFT does work with a PS2 if it's either a PS disc or an actual PS2 disc itself o.o;;

Can't say I've heard of a greatest hits disc o.o;;

I never heard of FFT not working on a PS2. I have a GH version of this game and it works just fine on my PS2.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't work... You seem to have an unreliable source.
I've used both the original and GH Tactics in both the old and slim ps2, and they've all worked.

I guess that myth is busted. P:

I have the Greatest Hits version and it works just fine. In fact, it looks better on the PS2 than it does on my PSOne.

Always worked fine for me and I got the original edition.

you were probably told that by someone who had one of the original greatest hits discs cuz when FFT first went to greatest hits they had a recall on the games cuz most of them didn't work not even on the original playstations

I have the original version of FFT and it's worked fine on both my PSX and PS2. The only problem was sometimes the background music makes a strange foghorn sound during some of the DD battles. But that was on both platforms.
