Corrupt Data
As I was saving my FF12 game the plug came out and off my PS2 went. No problemo I thought. That is until I turned it back on and tried to load only to find out that my one and only save file had been corrupt. Is there a way to get this to become not corrupted anymore?
Unfortunately, no.
I think this is why games put the big fat warning on the screen to not remove power from the console or remove the memory card whilst a save is in progress
This is why you should always have two save files per game, and overwrite the oldest of the two whenever you're saving. That's what I do.
