Saw that yesterday. I'm glad SE haven't totally forgotten some classic franchises.
The question now is, will it be like the first two awesome games or the later two games that were terrible...
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Good God that's win.
I think this is a remake of Lufia 2: Rise of Sinistrals, now titled: Esptolis: The Lands Cursed by the Gods

I agree Ruins of Lore was , but The Legend Returns wasn't bad. The combat ideas were really intriguing, though poorly executed.
Mind you I wouldn't really suggest the game to anyone, but it's not really 'bad'.
I wouldn't mind a Lufia 2 remake under the following conditions.
1) Leave the capsule monsters in it. They can tweak it a bit if they like, but on the whole that system should remain the same.
2) Give us either a follow up game, or expand on Lufia 2 and let us know 'What the smurf is Arek the Absolute?' Tis a question that has plaqued my mind for centuries.
3) Don't you dare ruin my Dekar.
I'd be happy with this.
Or just make a Lufia that expands on Arek.
well here's a trailer.... dramatically different, but by the same team as the original

...are they really trying to pass this off as a Lufia 2 remake?
I'm not saying that it's going to be a bad game by any means, but it's not Lufia 2, regardless of what they are trying to tell us.
Not sure if it looks good enough to pick up now, but I'll still wait and see.
Well, I was excited til I saw that trailer. :/
