Yes. Grew up on Power Rangers as a kid. Shared a name with the Green Ranger. Couldn't have asked for a better childhood hero. I only watched a couple of the Super Sentai episodes that was used for the original Power Rangers show. I also only seen the American version of Kamen Rider.
I actually found the series that was used for the American "Masked Rider" it's Kamen Rider Black RX I'm midway through that and I'm really enjoying it.
MMPR is the hands down best, but Zeo and In Space weren't too bad... Turbo nearly killed the franchise so it's worthy of a skip. In Space saved the franchise.
I watched the original series and Zeo. Then after a while they started airing Time Force, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, and Mystic Force on Jetix here and I watched them all, but gave up after that.
Huh. Now that I think about it, I did watch quite a lot of this silly show. And I actually enjoyed it. Wow.
Dino Thunder felt more like a duplicate to MMPR to me. Kira was the Yellow and Pink Ranger combined, Ethan was the Black and Blue Ranger combined. The White Ranger was basically the Green Ranger, and Tommy was their Zordon before ripping a page out of Jason's book and becoming a Power Ranger again giving us a weird Zeo element to it all. I initially liked it for these throwbacks, but that all it was. A throwback.
The villains at least had a different plan from the usual "take over the world" mumbo jumbo.
It's been forever since I watched, so I can't remember much of the White Ranger arc, but that wouldn't surprise me. They only did that storyline a hundred different times since MMPR. Someone was finally going to do it flawlessly sooner or later.
