Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Going with TWEWY. THe art direction seems a little more interesting here. What's FFTA's art got going for it? "We added noses this time"?
I mean, let’s be fair here. FFTA still looks pretty unique. It’s got that colorful, storybook aesthetic, the races are definitely one of a kind, and while it’s obviously not as unique as TWEWY’s, it’s still a far cry from a generic McFantssy game in terms of looks
TWEWY's art style was not up my alley at all, and always felt too edgy for me (which makes sense, given what the game was going for).
FFTA might not have the most unique art style but I like it a lot more.
I agree with Fynn that both games did try to do something a little different with the art style. I think TWEWY's style was more distinct and fit the game better.

As the tie breaker, I'm going to have to gie this to The World Ends With You. I love TA's design, but I feel TWEWY is one of the rare times where Nomura's stylish anime style really shines.
