If you've got tons of invites, why don't you just try it out and find out for yourself?
Personally I don't get the entire hype around it. It's webmail, so what? I've got a proper e-mail address and e-mail client already.

It is good though.

I love my gmail. I refuse to use anything else now. And I have like 50 invites to use, ugh.
How do you get so many invites? Mine maxes out at 6

gmail? GOOD? {cough cough} not realy. it won't upload .exe atachements, and it has no virus scan. i like yahoo and hotmail.
I had 6 invites until just now, because of this thread, I noticed I have 50. I think everyone just got those. I like it fine, but I don't get many emails anyway so it really doesn't matter.
