Have you ever been fishing?
I have not, which is probably odd seeing as I'm from Montana, aka the hunting/fishing capital of the West.

I enjoy fishing. catch and release for the most part.
Yes. I catch and release. It is pretty nice to just chill on a boat on a lake, even without the fishing part. Just chillin'.
I tried fishing when I was younger... I threw my rod backwards like you see on the tv and the line got tangled round a tree. I decided there and then that fishing was not for me.
Once or twice when I was in the cubs. If I'm honest, I found the rainbow of maggots to be used as bait more interesting!
I buy my fish from Tesco. They prepare it for you and everything. I don't fish in much the same way that I don't hunt cows when I fancy a burger.
I don't really get it.
That is a negative and I still regret it.
Yeah, I used to go very often when I was younger, but I haven't been in a long time now. Fresh caught fish just tastes so much better than anything you can buy.
I used to fish all the time. I grew up on the water.
A couple of times while over at my uncle's farm. He has a pond in the middle of it with a bunch of fishes swimming in it. Caught a couple, but not many.
My Dad used to take us fishing. Nothing fancy, no huge rods or anything, just fishing off the edge of a long wharf with a line. Caught a few small fish. Was really rubbish at it, generally. I wouldn't mind going fishing in a more serious way someday, but to be honest, there are a lot of other things I'd rather do so... eh. *shrug*
I do agree with Pheesh that freshly caught fish taste that much better. Dad would go spearfishing etc. and we'd have amazing food. Same with shellfish, we'd stalk the right beaches and come home for dinner with fresh scallops, pipi, etc. I'm very grateful for Dad's fishing skills and Mum's cooking skills.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
I have, but never really enjoyed it. I would always just hang out while everyone else actually fished. Or read a book.
