I have 7122 on record and who knows how many deleted and lost in prunes, I'd say around 10,000.

I have no idea how many posts I have. Though I'm sure many who came after me have more XP I tend to come on a lot for a while, then stop coming, and then come back for a while again randomly.

The main reason people get banned after one or two posts is the admins see it and realize its a second account (likely for someone who was previously banned)
I think I was somewhere around 6000 posts. It's not something I kept a close eye on. Searching for all my posts right now will be very inaccurate as I won't be able to see my staff forum posts anymore.
