I know what its like to have something bad happen near a holiday and then feel that the fun was just sucked away from it. But we must move on just try to focus on the positive things.
All of you are saying that i wrote that post for fun but thats wrong, i was trying to get my message through but i was quick to anger. Nobody understand vikeve and thats making me depressed.
I always get excited and extremely happy when I first see snow and hear holiday music, but I'm always absolutely depressed on the day itself. Not sure why.
The Christmas season is fun. I like going to the mall, so I don't mind the shopping. And I seem to be good at finding cool gifts for my family, so I always like seeing their faces. Plus, its the only time of the year that I make my Tiramisu and its pretty frickin' good, if I say so myself...
What's really awesome is when you start having children. Yeah, you don't get as much, but seeing them open their gifts and being all giddy is ten times better...
Christmas is great if you have loved ones to celebrate it with. Like boyfriends. Named Del Murder. ^_^
CHRISTMAS IS HORRIBLE.
I hate Christmas. All I do is drive the wife around a lot so she can go shopping for other people. It's not an enjoyable experience for me.
What about whats in it for you. The happiness that you feel when you see your daughter (you do have one don't you) opening a present you bought for her, the happiness you felt when you unravelled your presents all those years back revealing all that Star Wars junk (you liked Star Wars did you not?)

I love Christmas, and I love spending it with my girlfriend and family. My girlfriend's family is pretty cool to spend time with too. And I wouldn't say presents are a waste of money to be honest -- I love buying my girlfriend, my sister and my parents something they want or need, because I know they truely appreciate it. It's not like it has to be an expensive present for them to be able to appreciate it.
Also, Christmas lunches are awesome! So much yum yums! And the alcohol always tastes better on Christmas day. =)
BTW. Just saying in response to some posts here -- It goes the same way, that just because you have had bad Christmas experiences, doesn't mean that everyone else should hate it too. It's all fine and dandy to express your opinion and all, but over and over again; it gets a bit much. We get the idea. >.>;
