If they are intelligent insects, then I can't say I could easily choose. If they're just normal bugs, and the choice is between one and the other, then sure. But honestly, how many times have YOU been attacked in real life by a Kelzmelzer? Exactly. They're peaceful and indeed friendly beings. The game merely portrays them as evil and brainwashes people into thinking the choice is between humans and nonhumans.
