It degrades under normal usage. People are not to blame.
My favorite is the fact that it breaks the file system via its dirty mount/unmount systems. Litterally; it is self destructive.

Mac OSX is prolly one of the greatest user friendly computers out there.

Ubunto sucks, I must say. I was horribly let down. It is easy, but its a bit ished up as well. I would rather go red hat, even though red hat sucks too.

The beutiful thing is, when I say linux, I am talking the OS, not the distros plumb full of shattily assemebled open source software, but a more carefully implimented Distro like Slackaware, or from scratch.

And since when are you stuck with Grub or Lilo w/o config? I don't ever really use grub to any other degree than install, but I know you can do a ton of configuration post install with lilo.
