The Scream movies were alright, though a problem with them is that they aren't really that scary. The original Scream was a pretty good movie, having some fun and good moments. Scream 2 was like a typical sequel, not really on par with the original movie. Scream 3 was somewhat better, but still not as good as the first movie, even though it had quite a lot of story and humor (there were some moments when I wasn't really sure whether this is a horror movie or a comedy
). I agree with exit60b about it being a good idea to make Scream a trilogy rather than just keep making sequels.
