Nope. Rantzien and ED were both very close, as both of the areas have this thing (item/monster/character etc)

The whole riddle describes two areas that you easily, and compulsorily () meet this thing.
I'd say Beatrix, but it seems too easy :P
I'll say Prince Puck, mostly to keep this going. And I know you want reasoning but you ain't getting nuh.
Meh. This thread always dies on my riddles for some reason. More clues.
The King and the Soldier meet at last, - Not related to the game, but tells the name of the answer.
In the Cities of Sand, forgotten by past. - Like I said, both Rantzien and Ethanol Dreams got this part correct.
Your first encounter must be done,
The second is choice, but you can only choose one. - This could be how you meet them maybe?
One will lead you to escape, the other to a cage. - My favourite line. I won't go into it for obviousness reasons.
The Queen of the Sword awaits at first,
but turns next into a powerful mage. - Yeah. Don't wanna give too much away.
PS. You were wrong by the way Rantz, though I'm pretty sure your hunch with Beatrix is partially correct![]()
You know it's easy when you know the answer Quinny
Antlion.
The King and the Soldier meet at last,
Lion = king of the animals, ants are sort of soldiers by nature.
In the Cities of Sand, forgotten by past.
Cleyra and The Desert Palace
Your first encounter must be done,
The fight with the antlion at Cleyra is compulsory.
The second is choice, but you can only choose one.
To get into The Desert Palace you must choose the right pool of sand to walk into. If you choose wrong, you have to fight the Antlion.
One will lead you to escape, the other to a cage.
Upon defeating Antlion #1 (at Cleyra) you can escape, but when you get to The Desert Palace you'll get imprisoned.
The Queen of the Sword awaits at first,
Beatrix (at Cleyra)
but turns next into a powerful mage.
Kuja (at The Desert Palace)
Yup. Though next time maybe you'll get it without me baby-feeding you the answer?Damn that was such a good riddle.
Lol, I didn't ask for more clues
My riddles often kill riddle threads too though, so I know the feeling. Riddles were funnier when Lenna was still around.
Anyway, I'll think of one, but if someone who isn't Quinny or me has a riddle they want to post, go ahead and do it.![]()
Ok then, here's one (in a new post for slightly more attention):
My acquaintance you may have gotten
from the darkness, where I dwell
Although I may be gone and forgotten,
I know Father Time quite well
My former master hides in thin air,
his being you may have missed
to find him you may have to be aware
that he really does exist.
Now, when you've seen me, you may find
that you have seen me before
But only when you look behind
you'll find who I'm really made for
For although I have a close relative here,
a friend of yours, well and alive,
my own life span, it ended, I fear,
in Final Fantasy five.
So who am I, my playing friend?
Am I kin of men or mice?
Neither, but bring your doubt to end
With three times three, but twice.
For some reason the Namingway card comes to mind, but i'm not entirely sure of the reasoning sorry, as I haven't played FFV, but I do know he's from a previous FF. Since there's no reasoning. disregard this if you want.
Nope, not the Namingway card.
That is one sexy riddle, my friend.
I'll be thinking about it.
*distant fapping*
I'm saying Gilgamesh.
Wrong, sorry![]()
