Sony have worked hard for the PS3, they have had to sit through a ton a crap about their console. Having a successful launch is what they deserve.Why are you praising them? They don't deserve it.

I'm sure the person praising Sony was aiming it more generally at their video game division, not the music or TV, or walkman, or whichever segment of the company that you're mad at.
tomorrow, me and my friend are going to Wal Mart, K-Mart, Best Buy, and gamestop, just to screw around with all the campers. Like cut them (even though we're not getting any), instigate fights, and whatever else we could think of. We did it last year for 360. we instigated a few fights which was absolutly hilarious. People were throwing hissy fits!

I've heard that Japanese bums were also paid to stand in the queue. That's just wrong. With Sony's actions towards Lik-Sang and the way they've treated us in general, I couldn't give a rat's ass about them anymore. Of course, casual gamers won't know of their arrogance and Sony will likely be triumphant. Nintendo Wii for me anyway.
thats the way of the world today theres just no justice.....at least nintendo work for thier money and give you a good solid working piece of hardware that doesnt mess up (ive never heard of any nintendo consoles just randomly breaking down but its a regular thing with the Playstations and Xbox's) the only problem is that nintendo doesnt have alot of 3rd party support which means very few games....and you also have the problem that they never reduce the price of thier games....
They've got loads of third-party support! Look at the Wii's launch - best ever? Furthermore, consider Xbox 360 games going at £50 each initially. Wii games are far cheaper. Let's make this thread about the Wii, because we all love the Wii far more than the PS3.
Does the PS3 play PS2/PSX games? I know it uses blue-ray, but i don't know if it also uses the old disc system.
Yes it does, but there are reports that there have been a few problems with some of the games. Around 200 or so, but they should be fixed in later updates on the system Sony said.

You might as well wait until there's games you want for the system, or at least wait for a price drop and less high demand.
PS3 just sold on Ebay $3,300. I will never understand these smurfing people.
