Didn't I tell you to stop, like, seven times? I have a Staff of Kings on my Necro. Party adventuring is alot smarter than solo partying in BLOODY SMURFING HELL. We need at least one more person in, if we want to get to Act V.
....Alright, I'll stop. One of the good things that has happened however is that I've gained like four levels doing this.
Obsession is not a good thing.
I'd call it more wrath than anything else. I will not be defeated by a machine dammit.

Technically it's a global machine made of huge and massive amounts of servers and storage that are either privatized, protected, or open to free hacking just to keep all the newbies away, that is run by some of the most qualified computer science and technology majors in the entirety of the United States, so I wouldn't classify it as a machine, more like a cyborg.
Explains why Battle.net acts like a jerk.

I use it on a Polearm for an Act II merc. I've never used it on a stave. I would rather an Infinity, but using this, I never have to put any points into Energy, and I pretty much don't carry anymore Mana Potions.Originally Posted by Tavrobel

And I went to sit in game while Tav xfer'd, and then we went after Uber Diablo, though I had no idea what we were doing, or even if in fact that was what we were doing...
But we just died because I was dumb and distracted... So I guess our chance was missed or something...

EDIT: If you happen to be doing Countess runs for the runes, try checking the Armor and Weapons racks for Monarch Shields. The Max amount of Sockets for one of those is 4, which means socket quest = 4Os shield for Spirit.
6Os Phase Blade = hr
5Os flail = hr (CtA)
4Os flail = hr (HotO)
Keep an eye out.
