And right after that chapter, it says that they begat a multitude of chldren after that. If not, then God has this Matrix-like reserve area, in which beautiful women are grown from ribs. Sons would marry those women.
By the time that Adam and Eve were exiled from the garden, humans were already beginning to populate other areas of the earth. Adam and Eve represent the beginning of the lines of God's chosen people (the line of Abram). It should be assumed that Adam and Eve's sons intermarried with the neighboring tribes.
