I like the flurry of pages scan, it looks like it could really do something cool.

I have reason to belive that this book has some manner of reality-bending ness to it as well.

As for WHAT it is, it's obviously some kind of textbook from looking at the scans. It has tons of text, it's nearly a foot thick, it has a few pictures, it's damn near ancient, and I would imagine it has boundless fathoms of information that zexion has collected as a nobody and as a human.
