You've got a good sense of composition in your drawing, althought the characters lack a bit of composition and proper structure.
Especially on the chin feature of your adult version of Rydia where it expands too much. If you wanted to make it look as if she was looking upward, you should have had a line of determination connecting the neck to the chin. Try looking in the mirror to see what I mean.

Your coloring is good, but it seems that you have more then one light source? Because the two characters seems to be the contraire in the light shading as well as the shadows.

No, I welcome all critisism. It all helps towards becoming a better artist. Besides, I took a three year Visual Art and Design course (and graduated last week, I must add ), so I'm used to it and it definatly does help.

Anyhow, about the picture. The thing is, it's a cartoon anyway, so it's not so important for the actual anatomy and perspective to be spot on. I wasn't really striving for reality, more along the lines of something slightly 'above' but still believable. The light source, on the other hand, was purely accidental. But when I think about it, it probably works fine anyhow because the two Rydias are not actually in the same time, if you know what I mean. Never in the story of FFIV did the little Rydia meet the bigger Rydia, so I guess having the two different light sources helps emphasize that. But like I said, that was purely accidental and only a theory I came up with just now :laughing:

Ah... Even is cartoon non-reality, the characters still have a skeleton, muscles. brain, bodyshape and dynamism to rely on ...
