Thread: Want To Lose Your Virginity? Play WoW!

Drop me a line on AIM or something if I'm not on my BE. It'd be easier than checking the forums. :P

The main thing is trying to get attuned for heroics with my group of friends while also trying to get attuned for guild-related runs. Usually the two clash into each other and help each other out, like the Kara attunement will probably be done with my group of friends. But sometimes I get stretched out =(

Being a weak little mid 20 and still slightly new to the game, I'm not sure what exactly the Kara attunement entails.

2 mob-related kill quests, flying to talk to some guy, running Shadow Labs (Auchindoun) for a key fragment, The Steamvault (Coilfang Reservoir) for another one, Arcatraz (Tempest Keep) for a third one. Take key fragments to a guy in The Black Morass (Caverns of Time instace), talk to guy. Talk to quest originator. Go to raid!

    I'm about halfway done.

That sounds rather tedious. I can't wait to break 60 so I can just bitch about how much I hate all of the quests but I'm invested too much time to stop so I just accept it and continue. ^^

It doesn't take that long if you are doing it with a good group. With the group I have now, I could probably do the key fragments in about 4 hours with a 15-30 minute break or so. The main problem is two of my friends were in Russia for three weeks so I had to rely on PUGs for Shadow Labs. Which is not very friendly to do when nobody knows how to do it. I remember going into a group as the last person, everyone knew each other already and I was the newbie come-along. They tossed me leader when I told them everything they needed to do all smart sounding like. :D

Plus, I hear Kara is really really fun.

I like bossing people around in instance runs. I just say "Crescent Moon for Polymorph" and apparently it's too much work for them, so I just get made leader automatically. I'll check out all of that fun raid stuff in however long it takes me to level that high. 8-)

"Skull is kill, X is offtank/second kill. Sap the square, do you have imp sap? No. K, sap the square and kill it third. Sheep is star and last to die. Ready? K, let's go."

    "Bwaaaaah o_o"

It's really fun when you have a hunter in there. Just add "Okay, moon is trap. Trap dies forth, sheep dies last. Pet offtanks X."

Nobody understands that though! Instead there's always some dumbass Orc Warrior just charges forward and then starts yelling at everyone because we can't kill a huge mob in seven seconds. ^^

Need I remind you of our phone conversation whilst in Ashenvale?

Shalyn: "ARGH I hate the Alliance!"
    Eric: "Say that again, baby."
    Shalyn" "No."

    ^^

That happened in Shadow Labs with a PUG I was in. The warrior charged in before I could set marks and aggro'd two casters and a warrior. Then he grabbed aggro on a fourth mob that is usually solo'd because it has high health, damage, and fears. Then one of the party got feared into another of the high damage mobs and we wiped.

Usually my answer to a bad pull is "INVISIBILITY BYE BYE".

I have not yet been granted the luxury of an invisibility spell. D:

It is a wonderful spell minus the increased threat it gives you and the five seconds it takes for you to actually go invisible. But the twenty seconds it provides gives you enough time to place yourself in a good spot away from the mobs that just killed your entire party. I don't really use it that often. Captain has to go down with his ship, after all.

Not bad. Works a lot better than my current escape tactic of Frost Nova > Polymorph > Fortheloveofgoddon'tkillmeplease.
