Hey,
I was trying to play Final Fantasy Tactics on my PS2 and it wouldn't recognize the memory card. I did some research and apparantly the game won't recognize the typical official PS2 cards. I've heard tell of memory cards that might work to save for this game on PS2. If so, please help me relive my FF Tactics glory by telling me what cards might work. I'll name a character after you I swear and they'll be a bad mamma-jamma.

You can't save PS1 games onto PS2 memory cards. You need a regular PS1 memory card.

Get a PS1 memory card. The PS1 game only recognizes PS1 hardware. Being in a PS2 doesn't make a difference.

You have to be careful with the cheap knock-off psx memory cards though if you have a slimline PS2. My former roommate has an old PS2 which reads those cards fine, but my slimline PS2 didn't recognize them at all...so i had to buy a couple official Sony PSX memory cards and transfer all my files when i moved out.

Dude...you need a ps1 memory card for playing ps1 fgames foo. just emulate the game then you don't even have to buy the meory card.
