*jumps on the ff7 is lame bandwagon*
wait...we're not talking about the game?
Well I saw one last night , I felt it was the best yet.
Jesus is going to KILL BUNNY. It was a spin off of "kill bill".
Jesus was cutting people up with the sword, moving around like a saint and at the end a bunny showed up and it said jesus is going to KILL BUNNY. I thought it was well done, better than most of what i see on that show.
The 2D sprites looked nice, the 3D models in that game outside of battles and really important cutscenes looked awful.
And I though for sure you were gonna say the A-Team.
That, and the FF7 fast food one, purely for its battle themes. "Hamburger! Hamburger!" I really want the full MIDI of their parody of the boss theme, but I doubt they actually composed a full one
This topic is currently pending absolute ruination from yet more "FF7 IS LAME" people. This is a Final Fantasy forum, so you can damn well expect it to have FF7 fans on it. Get the smurf over it and drop the damn subject before it gets out of hand.[/earlywarningsystem]

personally, I prefer my RPG's in 2D. It just works better. I am also the literary type so I prefer my storytelling to be in the traditional, novelistic vein of 2D rpg's rather than the shallow cinematic style. But if you prefer 3D and cinematic, thats your call.
Having said that, if this discussion is gonna continue, I say take it to the general gaming thread.
As for Robot Chicken, most of their star wars stuff is ace. Espescially the Robot Chicken Star Wars Special. I also like the "Enter the Fat-One" skit, where Nsync is killed save for Joey fatone and he enters a martial arts tournament to avenge the group. I also liked the skit where all the mythical creatures miss the boat when noah's ark takes off. Oh yah, and the "thiis is your ... on heroin" skit gone totally over the top was also funny. Love seeing the girl launch the dog into orbit just for the heckuvit.
Some of their stuff is really stupid, but thats just the nature of sketch comedy. You experiment and see what works, and what doesn't work. More often then not their jokes are ace.
