I have to say, the game was open as hell. How you managed to miss all those blatant goal opportunities in the second half is beyond me. I was in a pub surrounded by Liverpudlians (damn swear filter!) and they were mystified a) Why Benitez didn't bring on Crouch for one of either Mascharano or Sissoko and b) Why they were missing such open chances. I feel that Carragher should've been booked for all that mouthing off to the referee and that Lescott also earned a penalty. But I'm bound to. Disappointed with the result, but eh.

We were outstanding today and showing signs of a prosperous Arsenal team, our attack was flawless and fluent with the motion, we commanded possession and used it greatly. Cesc is definitely our main maestro and key link to goals, along with Hleb's finishing touches!

For now let's aim to be in the mix in the League come Christmas and take the CL knock-out stages as they come (it's a long way until February after all)
