It looks like not only Marth, Ness, and Jigglypuff return but Luigi, Captain Falcon, Falco, and Mr. Game & Watch return as well!!!And now we've got Lucario, ROB, and Wolf playable.
The roster is a little small though. And I'm really against Toon Link. (they shouldn't have two separate characters that can't co-exist like Mario and Dr. Mario and Link and Young Link. It's also quite unfair to other characters who don't have another version of themself playable) That may not be all of the characters though since some of them are probably unobtainable in Adventure Mode (and I doubt they've done the Mewtwo method to try to unlock anything). So for you Pichu, Roy, and Mewtwo fans: there's still hope.
I hope Marth's Shield Breaker isn't weakened now that it's a stabbing move. I'm glad they kept him pretty much the same (complete with his voice actor, counter, and character design
Now I've really got a lot of questions about Adventure Mode. I guess they'll be answered eventually. My number one question is: is Mr. Game & Watch really hijacking the Halberd!?!? If he is that's really going to make for an awesome and hilarious plot twist!!

I guess it was just the way people persistantly believed they'd be removed that made me think they hated them (I know better now though).
It looks like not many people are too happy about ROB.
Apparently stores got it, and a few sold the game early. In Japan, that is. So that's why there's so much stuff coming out about the game now.
yeah, toon link is laaame, i mean, what kind of moves will he have?! and he just looks too damn different to normal (more awesome) link.
I, too, was expecting more characters, but i mean, there ARE 36 of them already and that is a fair few...maybe im just not fully satisfied becuase i wasn't really hoping for a specific character to make it, but i do like a LOT of them

If Young Link was just fine and dandy, don't see why he wouldn't be.So unless they make it fair by adding Paper Mario, Dark Samus, or other alterations of characters I don't see why Link should have two different characters. (So I'm also against Wolf Link if they don't add other character alterations) Also, that'll only just make people mad if they prioritized another version of Link instead of Roy, Mewtwo, or Pichu. Regular Link should be good enough for all Link fans and if they really had to add him they shouldn't have made him waste a valuable space on the character roster where one of the veterans (besides Young Link and Dr. Mario) or a much wanted newcomer (like Geno, Gooey, Krystal, Black Shadow, or Midna) could've been. I'd be okay if they made him like Wario though.
Im sure they will make him at least a little difrent than link. Unless sakurai plans on reapeating history:rolleyes2

It seems as though Toon Link is our Luigified Young Link. He was likely included just because there was a faster Link in Melee.
Edit: Also, Ganondorf's move-set seems to be based off of his Melee move-set, but he has been given new animations to de-clonify himself.
Edit 2: On the other hand, he only used 2 moves in that video.
