I love hugs, but I prefer snuggles.

Define and differentiate the following two verbs in relation to the performed action.

I think of a hug as a greeting/saying goodbye to a friend, or when you're consoling somebody; I think of a snuggle as laying in bed with your other half cuddling for ages.
