Oh well then, I don't have to hurt my brain trying to figure all this out right now. I'm assuming that the current accusations beyond Hotti are based on players' experience from prior games--something I don't have. Perhaps if I survive long enough in this game I'll be able to pick up on some of the subtleties, but right now I'm not exactly following what's going on.

Anyway, on to mafia discussion. I guess I should have been more clear. Luke isn't like a super info lynch, but rather it would influence me personally, and that definitely doesn't hold true for everyone. Maybe that is flawed. I'm also more confused because Jean and Luke have warmed up to each other, so that argument hardly holds water.

What I'm a little confused is how easily everyone is biting into the I'm a newbie argument. I suppose he hasn't given us enough proof either way as to his position, so a bit contrary to what I posted last time perhaps it would be a good idea to lynch Hotti because there are reasons to believe he was scum, much more so than anyone else, including Luke, and it would not be good to guess/kill another townie.

At the same time, in breakfast mafia Waffles was incoherent and gone the first day, even though he was on the town side.

But I guess there probably isn't a role that says "try to contradict yourself a bit and make most people dislike you." For now I'll take my vote back, withhold it for a while, and try to make a decision later since I now have time to think this over! Hooray!

Egad there's a lot of posts to go over.

I'm still sifting through everything. But here's a few thoughts.

So far I think Hotti needs to go. I still have the suspicions of him being a Jester, but I think more and more it might not be the case. I can't quite figure him out and would like for him to be dead and finally know the truth. If he's town, he's not helping us, if he's scum then it's a victory for us. If he's something else, then we at least know what we're dealing with.

I'll be voting Hotti when the day is closer to being done (or I go to sleep, which ever comes first).

Actually on a second thought of Hotti, an idea popped into my head. One I don't believe has been said before.

It would fit some holes I was thinking about. I have my doubts that there would be a straight up Jester in the game as most hosts tend to dislike Jester here. So who else would try and get lynched so fast? I was thinking it was a mafia ploy early on, get the town suspicious of being a Jester and your set for a while when it came to the lynch. Look at how well Quina did and he was the God Father. However this is a very big gamble to do, and has a very high chance of failing. But what if the reason he was going to such lengths to get lynched were for another reason....who else wants to get lynched? Why none other then a Bomb! But even a townie Bomb wouldn't go this far. Only a Mafia Bomb would claim cop and get a townie killed, then work so hard to be lynched.

Everything seems to fit well enough, so I'm beginning to suspect Hotti isn't a Jester, but rather a Mafia Bomb.
