To whoever is buying the game in the UK, BUY IT AT ZAVVI! They're offering the game for only £40 (which is how it should be really, but its being sold for £50 everywhere else). You also get a bitchin MGS4 T-shirt with it, plus some pointless keyrings but more importantly, you get MGS3 free. Better than paying £50 for just the game everwhere else.

Anyway, I better get off my computer and play the friggin game. Its been too long.

Well the worst thing that could possibly happen has happened. My PS3 is out of commision. I now need to replace the hard drive. Its a long story but it couldnt of happened at the worst time. I got maybe 5 minutes into the game. (SPOILER)I got to witness the weird TV channel programs that play at the beginning. They were pretty hilarious

Other news, I just might be able to get the game today, once again breaking the tradition of games arriving a week late where I live.

Trying to keep my hopes down though, so I don't get too disappointed if they don't have it/it's sold out.

My HDD became corrupt. While I was playing MGS4 it kept crashing at a specific point so I repeatedly reinstalled the game. I have to do this often with my PS3 games. I became desperate and started deleting other installed data. I tried to delete my DMC4 data but it crashed while deleting so I had to turn my PS3 off. This actually didnt do anything the first time I turned my PS3 on and MGS4 started working. I saved and turned off my PS3 for a while. Now whenever I boot my PS3 it tells me my HDD is corrupt and it needs to be restored. I let it do its work but when its finished it simply restarts my PS3 and shows the exact same message.

I am VERY pissed. From what I played MGS4 was pretty amazing. Hell even the install screen was awesome. I dont even want to play any other games at this point, that'll just depress me even more.

This is reminding me of the first time I ever played an MGS game, MGS2 on Xbox. I was so freaking scared to do *anything* because I was afraid I would get caught. It's pretty tense.

I just got a little bit past Drebin. Weapon customization ftw.
