I am a big MMORPG guy, and will probably take my level 70 pally into WotLK just to see the new content. So, maybe if anyone needs a healer or something let me know!

As far as anything contesting WoW, I thought Age of Conan had potential... but Funcom smurfed that all up. A -very- incomplete game and they totally failed to follow through on any content or to even fix any of the most prominent bugs in it since launch. I was with it from day one, and have watched it go down hill.
