I hate them being 12:45 because I work until 2pm. I only saw the last fifteen minutes. I think I've only seen all of two Everton games this season because of them being on while I'm at work or public transport being a pain.

I expected us to lose. I don't think that 4-5-1 is terribly negative when we're playing Cahill as well, as it's more a 4-4-1-1 formation. We're a complete mess at the moment and I would've been happy with a draw. I've been saying this since the creation of the thread, but we seriously need sorting out on and off the pitch. I might laugh at Newcastle, but I know that Everton could be almost as bad. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Moyes left this season. I don't want him to, but I wouldn't bet against it.

Horrible, horrible game. We haven't been defending well all season, and this was the occasion where it finally cost us. Not that we were any better at the other end of the pitch, but it's the defence that's going to keep us out of the title race this season.

EDIT: At least Spurs are still bottom. This weekend wasn't a total catastrophe after all.

"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.

This is a rapper who plays for a top Premiership club. His rapper name is "Rio". See if you can guess who it is, before clicking the link. HINT: It's not Rio Ferdinand.

Lyrics are helpfully provided in the more info.

    ...dear god.

Absolutely hilarious. Every day you think Newcastle can't get any more of a joke and they out do it every time

13 minutes of that?! That's almost as long as Martin goes on for.

I want to see Ryan Babel and Joe Kinnear collaborating on a rap.

Only if Martin O'Neill does backing vocals.

I'm frightened. This isn't Liverpool. What's going on? Why haven't we collapsed yet? Let my hopes of us getting our precious title back die already.

(but not really. Oh Fernando, you are the one man...)

On the one hand, I'm thankful that we haven't imploded entirely; Newcastle aren't better than us.

On the other hand, I think we're about the only team bar Spurs who probably can't beat Newcastle. Spurs and Newcastle are SUPPOSED to be bad because they're overrated and underperform like I don't know what. But Everton are supposed to be the plucky underdogs punching above their weight and finishing in the top 6 ;_; FIX THINGS MR MOYES

Best moment of the game? Ashley Cole being punched in the bollocks in the first half. I laughed until I cried.
