I'm especially curious about how the entire party can take a nap in a Tent while fleeing from the Mako reactor at the start of FFVII. It's a power station full of killer robots and inept MPs. It's going to blow up in ten minutes. So these guys just pitch their tent and go for a snooze, healing all their gunshot wounds and laser burns in an instant?

And why, oh why, can they not re-use tents later?

It's kinda neat in FFIX how a character can hop into a tent in the middle of battle to restore health, and they're actually shown to be in a tent for the duration. It'd kind of suck for their teammates: "Oh hey, it's a Grand Dragon. BRB, nap tiem nao!"
