There'd have to be a pretty huge size differential for it to be anything other than mildly uncomfortable. I have the same problem, though it's not that bad. The wedding ring moves around a bit sometimes but I'm used to it now. Getting used to it on the other hand took quite a while seeing as I never wore a ring before.

As for fattening up the fingers, take up guitar. I'm 4" taller than my dad and about 50 lbs. heavier at the moment yet his fingers have always been thicker than mine, even though mine are longer. Either he just grew that way or it's the years of guitar. Worst case scenario, your fingers will stay the same size, but you can impress chicks with some emo crooning.

My phalanges are also on the slim size and I tend to wear a size eight....I'm always thinking that my future wife and I will have the same ring size........

You are right - it's just uncomfortable. But I really dislike that feeling of looseness, so either I don't wear rings, or I constantly switch them between my middle and index finger as they grow/shrink with the temperature (or is it the ring that changes??). The problem is actually lessening a little, so maybe one day I'll be able to wear a ring comfortably

Is it because you want a diamond solitaire on that empty ring finer of yours....Cause if you do, please give me at least four to five months to scrounge all my savings... I'll come riding in a white mustang (the car ) , and call out your name in most utter devotion....

If it doesn't turn you into the Green Lantern, I don't see the point anyway.

knuckles huge, skinny fingers. I think that you just need to develop the muscle to match your hands, work our some your bones shouldn't extend outwards from the rest of your body in any location other than the wrist, elbow, knees or ankles.

I have really thin, really small, really wrinkly old lady hands that are surprisingly strong and have weird jagged mountain peaks for knuckles. Themsa good fightin' hands! xD

Yeah but you have man hands.

My fingers are smaller than my mom's, and she wears a 7.

My hands aren't very feminine. They're not big enough to be masculine though. My fingers are very bony so it's always a surprise when I touch the hands of someone whose hands are fleshy and soft.
