I like the American L4D2 box art better, and Ive never heard of holding fingers like that meant something offensive *cough*retarded*cough*

It's because English longbowmen used to rape the French with their arrows of doom. If the French did get hold of a bowman, they chopped off those two fingers, as they are the ones that pull the bowstring. The sign essentially says "HAHAHAHA WE STILL HAVE OUR FINGERS SO WE CAN smurf YOU UP!".

And if it weren't for your obviously limited intelligence, you'd have realised that holding any fingers up in any arrangement to mean something offensive is retarded.
