I was saying that I'm pretty sure Titan calling me sane wasn't the only reason I didn't get lynched.
I'm still really entertaining the possibility that Titan is an insane psychologist. Depressive Townie, Melodramatic Townie, Hag - they all sound like they could be insane, but it would be a silly role if it registered all of them as insane wouldn't it? Then why would the dud come up insane? what makes him crazier than the rest of us? Plus seeing as some of us are suspicious of him being cult anyway, I think maybe lynching him would be the best course of action.
Well now I pretty much know for a fact that Titan is either lying or is insane himself, because I am sure I am not insane. I can't see how the 'Hag' would be insane, and I was never recruited to any cult. If Titan is insane then that means Siren is too, and he should be lynched. However I think it more plausible to believe that Titan is in fact cult and has been working against us for some time.
How many cult has he actually helped us find? Why did he investigate Siren instead of someone more plausible like Bahamut? My guess is that he investigated Siren to gain a townie's trust, or to clear one of his own cult buddies. Or, perhaps Siren was with us yesterday and was turned last night. If he ended up getting lynched (which she almost did) it would have helped 'clear' Titan and allow him to further send us to our doom.
Just ask yourself who is most likely to be recruited. I think it's obvious. He has done nothing to help us and in fact he has only hurt us, ever since Cactuar on day one!
##Vote: Titan
I also want to point out, that if I am lynched Titan has an out. I will come up as 'Hag' and he can just argue that it is another role that would come up as insane. Like 'Dud'. I should not have claimed then but I was up against it and wanted to make sure you guys knew the truth.
FORWARD MARCH! I've been scouting out the thread and I have two theories.
The Siren Theory
Lt. Siren has been playing it low key for the entire war. Hasn't even voted except once, for Cpl. Valefor - but this is crucial - only after the tie had already been broken so her vote would not count. Rather convienient.
0-Yesterday-Hundred hours, Gunnery Sergeant Ramuh was all over Lt. Siren's. Was totally obsessed and even came up with a trap to try to get her. Yet today he has made absolutely no mention of her and instead goes after Cpl. Valefor. I think that if Lt. Siren is the leader, poor Gunny Ramuh was last night's recruit.
It is as clear as a polished M16 to me that under this scenario, the cult want Cpl. Valefor lynched. Is he one of them? Possible. Titan has obviously been forced to sign up to the cult if Lt. Siren is the leader, and I suppose it would've come around the time of his false insane claim on Pvt. Doomtrain.
Theory 2: The Valefor-Odin Alliance
I strongly suspected Cpl. Valefor yesterday of being the cult leader. I have been trying to figure out who would be his squad mates if this was true. I think the most obvious of these would be Lance Cpl. Odin.
On Day 2, Lance Cpl. Odin and Cpl. Valefor clashed, with Lance Cpl. Odin putting a vote on Cpl. Valefor and the two had a little bit of a bicker. This completely stops on Day 3. Clearly, one of them decided to recruit his foe on Night 2. Instead, Odin goes after the power roles, myself and Colonel Carbuncle, coming out with some FUBAR theory about a Mafia Cop. We all know there is no Mafia, and it would make sense for a Cultist to try to find evidence that there is.
I would also like to draw attention to Odin being low key for Day 1 and 2, and Valefor doing the exact opposite, and then on Day 3, the roles were switched.
Which of the two is the enemy General? I'm not sure, sir! *salutes*
However, judging from the sheer speed at which so much infantry has massed against Valefor, while nobody has even mentioned Odin, it stands to reason that he could well be the lower-ranked grunt taking the hit for his Officer as his fellow soldiers conduct friendly fire (although I don't think everybody who voted for Valefor is cult. Hell, I did it yesterday!), and that would be why I am worried it might be Odin instead.
Oh crap uhhhhh when I say "Odin" I mean "Lance Cpl Odin." :riiight:
And anybody who says differently gets latrine duty!
##Vote: Siren
You haven't been helpful to the town at all. Perfect candidate for cult leader, if you ask me.
I think Odin may be the leader not Valefor.
Interesting theory Ifrit. I hope you didn't spend too much time on it though, because it's wrong.![]()
Have you seen something else that I missed? Lance Cpl. Odin is a slippery dude and hard to get a handle on.Originally Posted by Carbuncle

Although, Gunnery Sergeant Ramuh, I have to ask for your views on Lt. Siren and why you have stopped your battle with her.
