Where should I level up? I havnt gotten the growth egg yet and cant even beat Neochu on the Titan Trials...

Two suggestions for quick leveling
1 - go back to mahabara and kill everything smaller than the phalanx (the big robot that drops smaller ones)
2 - Kill adamantoises
start of battle
sen-syn-med ->summon to knock him down, after haste is on all characters paradigm shift
sab-sen-med
using vanille as your main character cast death and pray the sucker dies (using malboro wand helps alot/it's upgraded from beladona wand)
note now would be a really good time to have collector's catalogs x3 on because you can make alot of gil this way
don't forget that your going to have to grind a few fights after each big guy fight to get your tp back to 3 so you can summon again. it helps if you have items on that bring tp up faster while grinding these fights out.
Don't forget neo-ochu is also succeptible to death
Is there any real point to doing the missions? Or is just so you can say you did? And are there any other sidequests at all?
I'm really hoping SE releases some DLC for FFXIII like they promised they would years ago.
no real point as I can see. Just some achievements and items. I'm hoping for some dlc but the last word out was that "this is the complete game and no dlc is required" they also mentioned something about cutting an entire games worth of material from the product.
My fingers are crossed but expectactions are low.
Heh, just realised when the Adamantoise walk around, the goblins all stop and stare at them. =]

I am suspecting at some point we get DLC where we get to kill the giant monster that walks arround in the background of Pulse eating Adamantoise.
I mean, why put a giant monster in a game if you can't kill it? That is just wrong.
I love all of the endgame but the weapon upgrading is ridiculous, the only element of this game I really hate.
I've finally got a Trapezohedron after saving up lots of Plat Ingots, now I'm trying to do the dismantle exploit to multiply it but that seems to be costing even more Gil...

Im guessing he's hoping for some mega bosses or something, which there aren't, although you get to kill the huge adamantoise. To be honest, you can ask the same question on killing the mega bosses like the Weapons etc, "Whats the point?", well the answer is fun and challenge. A DLC to enable that would be sweet, but from my previous luck with DLC the game companies never deliver.

Yeah the first thing that popped into my head when I saw Titan was "man I hope he is a boss", but alas, no.
It cost me about 1.5 mil, though I made about 200k of that back with some of the extra stuff that came with dismantling. Definitely worth it, considering what a pain Traps are to get.
3.5m for 3x Trapezohedron via purchase 1 and exploit to make 3 (ie, you buy one with 2m and you upgrade it using 1.5m)
6.0m for 3x Trapezohedron via purchase 3 only
So yeah, definitely cheaper.

Oh god, I wasn't even thinking about buying any! Yeah, that would be awful, and would probably be more work in the long run because that's just even more farming for gil.
I am not a fan of Zirnitra.
Nobody is. And there's four missions with it as the Mark.
