There is a minor character FF9 named Polom in the EV and ポロム POROMU in the JV. This character shares her/his name with Porom of FF4 - only the EV Square didn't catch it, if they did then they deliberately misspelled the name.

The other twin is named Palom. Maybe they just smushed the two names together
