It looks gorgeous, but it might single-handedly slay my laptop.The gameplay looks so damn beautiful, I can't imagine it on my computer screen and in my control.

Thanks for the links Ome! The character creation looks awesome.
No problem, the character creation does indeed look cool. I hope they have more hair styles come release!
Also, I wasn't really too excited about the official trailer. I think more than anything I was a bit dissapointed with the landscapes shown. But that's just me!

I watched that 9 minute demo where the girl did a quest where she had to collect pages. It was a simple thing but it looked fun and the quest system looks super easy and user-friendly. I love questing so that gets me really excited.
The change from the auto-attack interface will take getting used to but it's not like we haven't all button mashed in FF games before (as in, like, all of them) so I think once we get it down it will be easy to use as well.

I wonder, do you think that the lack of auto-fight, the group battles, etc. will make it any harder for gil farmers? I hope so. I hated it when I was farming and a gil farmer would come along and get everything before I could. Grr!
