This is a preference thread, not a demanding thread. My girlfriend can wear her hair however the hell she wants it, but I would prefer that she keep it slightly longer than shoulder length.

Depends on the person. Last GF alternated between shoulder length and a few inches shorter, and current person of interest cut her hair to an inch and a half and looks just fine with it.

I've read somewhere that only a chosen few girls can pull short hair off. I mean just look at Rihanna, Halle Berry and Katie Holmes. Don't they just look fabulous? Reese Witherspoon also wears mid-length hair quite well.
