If it makes you feel any better, I would never call it that out loud. Spelling San Francisco is hard.

Veteran's day weekend! BJ gets Thursday off so he's taking Friday too. We like dreary rainy weather, so it's fine.

I will forward you plan to BJ. I refuse to do any planning; this trip is a gift to me.

You may want to visit Washington, DC. It's a nice place if you intend to visit the monuments and White House! There's a lot you could also do if you do decide to go!

Apparently, I have been declared banished.

Tony and I are going to Napa next week to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. The Napa valley is seriously gorgeous! We're planning on eating at Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc, and the Michelin Starred restaurant, Auberge Du Soleil. Maybe take a hot air balloon ride and hit up some of the spas in the area. Get a mud bath, massage, etc.

Other places I want to visit in the States:

Hawaii! I've been twice but Tony hasn't. We can go on a Lost tour!
    New Orleans - BEIGNETS!
Florida - Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I heard that Disneyworld isn't as good as Disneyland though.
    Aspen
    Chicago

We toyed around with going to DC for the Keep Fear Alive/Restore Sanity rally but since it's going to be televised, might as well save the trip.

PS. Let's have dinner! I don't think I'm working that weekend!

    Dear Shlup,

If you see an attractive young gay man that is not particularly feminine, in good shape, and taller than 6 feet, refer him to me. That is you punishment for not going to San Francisco with me.

    Thanks.

Maybe. BJ already went around the USA on a tour bus... I guess it depends on how expensive it would be. We're definitely going to Europe first though!

BJ doesn't like that kind of stuff, but I am planning a trip like that with my lady friends. Yes, I have lady friends now. We have crafts nights and talk about books while we drink wine.

    I love Hawaii~ <3
I dunno if I'm interested in New Orleans. It's so... I dunno. The south makes me ill. Disneyland New Orleans is probably enough for me.
If I lose ten more pounds BJ'll take me to Disney World! I have a Disneyland pass, so I know Disneyland is epic, but I waaaaaant to see Disney World!
Aspen though? Ew. That sounds like skiing. No way. Big Bear is enough for me.
BJ went to Chicago. I don't even know what there is to do there.

And, yes, dinner sounds lovely. Or maybe lunch (ooo, or brunch) on Sunday before we head back down? Friday we're doing Alcatraz, definitely. BJ's booking our hotel and getting Alcatraz tickets when he gets home from work today.

I hated Rome. I twas so smelly and dirty and smog. The ruins were cool but the rest of it wasn't. Also it was like 106 and crazy humidity when I was there. However, Florance and Venice are amazing.
