When nicknaming a pokémon it's a lot more in depth and important than one would assume. Giving a pokémon a nickname is the start of your bond with them, a bond that will never be broken. Even if you trade your pokémon to another trainer, that bond will persist. Forever.
Also technically chocobos are monsters too, you can fight them in some games like Final Fantasy Tactics and sometimes they are red and like to use meteors to smash you

Lack of justice? Criminals in the JLI? Preposterous! The four villains in our party are upstanding citizens, despite being called the "bad guys". We have a leader of a corrupt nation, a scientist, a hardworking tollbooth worker, and a former zombie. None of the four members of the Brotherhood of Elitists are considered criminals. I'm proud to say that I support my fellow members of the JLI, and so should everyone else! If there were no villains in the world, us superheroes would not be needed.
