The timing is certainly suspicious, especially the reorganization of the forums on 4/1 (as well as the use of "Cheers" in all of Justin's messages), but it's not much of a prank as this would apparently be an improvement. If it is a prank, I would've thought EoFF would've been "sold" two months ago and March being full of gradual but unpopular changes and staff reorganization (e.g., foa being kicked off for talking too much smack, or Shlup being kicked off due to lack of room for her ass). This apparent prank, on the other hand, is lame and not fun.
Del's and Psy's early admissions are also fishy, but point towards a different sort of prank. If the sale is real, they might have delayed the big reveal until 4/1 so that everyone thinks it is a prank. Which has my vote as it would be at least clever.
