Funniest move of the year by far. I'd go far as to say it even beats Hangover 2. That dude Charlie Day is one funny ass dude! And Kevin Spacey is a beast.

    like a 9.5/10
I wanna see it! It looks so amazing omg. If you spoil it I will murder all of your unborn children.
3 dudes try to kill their horrible bosses. :3 I think I'll have nightmares now of you appearing randomly and ripping off my nuts.

It's dirty and stupid humor but that's what this kind of movie is all about. We're not looking for a comedy masterpiece here. Just above average laughs and entertainment for 2 hours.

    Horrible Bosses

    8/10

Jennifer Aniston was actually funny. I was surprised because she was my second least favorite Friend. Ross was my least favorite of all.

Now time to see Deathly Hallows. I've been avoiding the series for a while, but this one actually looks good.

Movies that feature iterating loops tend to fall in two categories: repeat the scenario over until you get it right (Groundhog Day), or messing with a timeline is futile because all sort of unexpected consequances crop up (The Time Machine).

12 Angry Men: This is the first time I've seen this. I've heard it's good but it exceeded expectations. It was extraordinary. Exciting and enthralling, despite the whole movie being played out in one small room with the same 12 men inside it throughout.

    KICK-ASS... need I say more?

    Letters to Juliet 8/10
It's a romantic comedy. What do you want? From the beginning of the movie, you can tell she's not over-heels for her fiance and things are bound to go off in another direction. Absolutely no surprises. Still pretty heartwarming. I describe it as a smack-to-the-head romance since every seen makes me want to reach into the screen and smack either him or her for not seeing the obvious. As I told my ex on Fb, watching romance flicks makes me feel like a big girl. Not the crying sort. Hell, I wish I could cry.

ALEXANDER starring Colin Farrel, Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie, Rosario Dawson, Jared Leto, John Rhys-Meyers and with appearances by Val Kilmer and... well, others. Big movie. Long movie. Two disc dvd set. I did not know these things about this legendary man, Alexander the Great of Macedon. Epic childhood, epic parental issues, epic sex, epic wars/battles/conflicts/what-have-you, epic tragedy... sad, sad, pathetic way to end. My mom was sad. I was outraged. My dad was sorting through a box of ancient family stuff and wasn't really paying attention. His mixed opinions don't count. Bravo Colin. Bravo Jared. Bravo Sir Hopkins.

    Julie & Julia 8/10
You learn a lot about Julia Child in this movie and join both hers and Julie Powell's struggles, worlds apart though they may have been, and kind of wish you could've been there to lend your own support. Very nicely done.

... i (almost) fell asleep during this movie :o didnt like it

True. There were moments when I almost fell asleep as well. Like Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, it was overly longwinded and drawn out... ssssLOW... Still good movies though.

I just recently watched Ladykillers... the older original. I've seen the one starring Tom Hanks, this one stars Sir Alec Guinness... frickin' Obi-Wan Kenobi. I rate both movies pretty much the same. Although the older movie involves just a little too much talking... every single character's voice started to grate on my nerves and I had to fastforward past a lot of dribble. The original plot involved trying to make the old lady an accomplice whereas the Tom Hanks version had her completely oblivious to everything that happened. Both Tom Hanks and Alec Guinness were finished off the same general way though.

Watched Ocean's 13... rock it. If you've watched the previous movies, you pretty much know the ENTIRE plot of this one as well. But some miniscule details may leave you surprised.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks... an older classic and kind of a wannabe followup to Mary Poppins. I think it deserves a remake and a sequel. It's like Nanny McPhee except with singing and cartoon animals.

Suprisingly good. From the trailer I thought this was going to be a silly action movie like Crank, but it was instead a very thoughtful, slightly intellectual film about a man who yes, takes a drug to keep himself on tip top shape. He is a struggling writer who eventually encounters a drug that allows him to access all parts of his brain and remember things he encountered over the years. It's an interesting an idea for a film. The only thing it could have ended fifteen minutes before it did and still been good, but nonetheless thought it was decent.

That's the last movie I watched too. I thought it was pretty good, 4 out of 5 stars.

apparently Rise of the Planet of the Apes has been getting good reviews and reception, but I thought it was laughably bad.

Does that mean I'm a movie snob now? I never meant to be!

I haven't seen it, but the previews make it look terrible. All my friends are excited for it, and I just don't understand why.
