The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

This game gets rather old, doesn't it? I'm at the point where I'm trying to avoid any and all sidequests or anything that isn't directly related to the main quest or something with substance. There's quite a lot of trivial crap in this game that'll have you looking for items or killing people for weeks. None of that adds to the value of the game; it's simply filler.

It's basically a really tedious experience with a few moments of fun.

You don't like sandbox games, do you?

This game is glorious, the sheer amount of stuff to do is awesome.

I can't help you there though; I haven't even started the Civil War questline yet and can't really look up stuff here from the school computers.

Nah, I'm not a huge fan of sandbox games. I was addicted to Skyrim, but I realized that it's really become a late-night time filler. Once I considered that I'd rather be performing tedious chores in real life than in a video game, I started getting my laundry done when it needed doing, my apartment was cleaner, and there were less species of mold growing on my dinnerware.

It's just a personal preference. I don't like working in video games. I'd rather get paid for labor.

I don't remember the problem with your Jagged Crown mission, by the way. I remember seeing something blocked by branches. Try looking for a different entrance?

I'm assuming you have the objective marker turned on, right? Why not just follow where it points you? It is literally telling you to walk through a broken wall with branches?

Yes. Also I didn't get a big group of Stormcloak soldiers either, just me, the commander with the bear skin on his head, & the Stormcloak soldier who escapes Helgen. When we enter the ruins they can't get past it either. Then I went back outside to look for another way in came back inside the other 2 basically walked through the wall.

This is my 2nd playthrough so I'm aware of how the quest is supposed to work. After googling the problem a few times I'm not the only one with this problem either.

Yeah, the game is full of bugs and glitches. I guess keep googling and see if anyone has found a fix. I've had several problems that I was able to fix by messing around with files or even just using the console.

There doesn't seem to be any other runes or caves that may be connected to it near by no! I'm playing on PS3 so I assume a console fix is not an option

You leave via a different hole in the ground. Might be worth a go finding that, though I strongly doubt it'll work.

I'd still try fast traveling to the nearest location and then walking back. Reloading saves and fast traveling seem to be the fix for a lot of bugs like this according to Elder Scrolls Wikia.
