I think they are porting it to Vita.

I was kind of put off of the idea when it was just a rumor, and then it turns out that in addition to concept, they're actually borrowing a substantial amount of the Smash Bros. game design. I find that incredibly shameless and, yet, ironically, it makes me want to play it.
