You people must be some kind of smurfing music snobs. Every time we have threads like this I have to run and hide in "shame" because I still listen to half if not all of the tit listed. Get off your high horse and just listen to w/e makes you feel good. Goddamn.

I actually still listen to most of the music I listened to when I was growing up.

You see, I just don't give a crap about supposed artistic merit or what people think of the music I listen to. Music is entertainment, and I'm an adult. If I like the way it sounds, I listen to it, and if it bores me, I don't.

I pity the man who deprives himself of potential entertainment or subjects himself to music that isn't based upon some ridiculous notion that it matters how the music was made or how other people view it's aesthetic legitimacy.

It's largely a joke thread, relax guys. You're talking to someone who these days listens to nothing but terrible 90s pop and 80s new wave that usually makes it to "worst of" lists. You all are preaching to the choir.
