I had a small taste of how it was going to be today, during training now that the 5 is out and I have to say it scares me. I mean literally EVERY other chat was about it, and as much as I would be the same if I wasn't in the other position. Wow.

Think the current trend on iphone 5 will last for a while. Then again, let's see how're the feedbacks of the first batch of consumers that bought one. Who knows it might turn out crappy!
Yeah this is why I'm probably sticking with a 4S until I get a solid word on it, as far as look and specs wise it looks amazing but even the first iPhone had it's flaws. (It got extremely hot for me to the touch to the point of almost burning me.) So I think I'll stick with something that's been around for a while.

I wanted to get a 4S but I heard the battery dies really fast especially with that Siri thingy on?
But the phone's camera is good though! 8 megapixels right? So much better than my current iphone 4.
I can barely afford my current iPhone.

I had problems with the 4 and the whole "holding it at a certain angle under a full moon and it would do this" thing. It would keep telling me my sim didn't exist or something I don't know. I ended up taping and nearly gluing it in place, but even that still didn't really help.
Yeah, I run with AT&T and the data plan plus all the extra's are usually out the wazoo expensive. But now we introduced that Mobile Share biz and it looks like it might actually be worth it in the long run so I'm hoping it won't hit me in the pocket super hard.Originally Posted by Clo

I got the same problem!!!! God Damn it, I have to go look for that silly small little pin to take my sim card out and re-insert it!
But for some reason, that problem kinda disappear as time passes by. Or maybe is the IOS that I updated?
I thought maybe the 5.1 update would fix it, but really you have to seat the thing permanent like into the slot and make sure it stays there otherwise it'll keep happening. If it isn't happening that's a good thing but I would be very weary about it. Not to scare you or anything haha. But I definitely had problems with the same thing.

Is that Siri thingy in 4S useful at all? My friends that own one said it is only good for a laugh.
It's...useful for hands off situations like driving and what not but it's really just someone to talk to. I love Siri personally, and I can't wait until I get to use her all the time (Sounds dirty eh) but yeah I think it's good for like texting while driving or things like that.

My battery lasts a pretty long time depending on what I'm doing.
